Need a new H/U

What would be different between that 25th anniversary deck and the new kenwood x990? besides the x990 has the usb port. Which one would be better if price was no consideration?

I called myself looking carefully and I could find nothing in the specs on the 990 to suggest it has the USB port. The 890 does, and one could easily assume that the 990, being the next model up, would have it as well but I'm not for certain that it does.
Outside of that is the change from using Burr-Brown DACs to Wolfson units. I know nothing about the Wolfsons myself but presumably they are top-notch stuff for Kenwood to get rid of a known, quality DAC in the Burr-Brown.

I think the XXV-01D was made in lesser quantities than the X889 and the X990 which both, to me, closely approximate the XXV with the 990 being closer having no radio presets on the face. Possibly, if my assumption on production numbers is correct, the XXV-01D might possibly retain its value better over the long haul than its other top-end eXcelon brethren.
