What do you mean by unauthorized? Is it still not the same (unless it comes without warranty)? If there are some repercussions then I'll just get the authorized version, whatever it means.
SUB, I already know that I can use mono to power more than one sub, but the thing is that my current sub is bridged. If I get a 2-CH amp all I have to do is unplug and replug the cables. I don't want to pay an installer to rewire my sub and I have never rewired myself nor had the time to do it. Otherwise, I'd like to get a mono as well, since it seems to be cheaper than multiple channel amps.
