Need a lil help

Alright i am pretty good with the whole electronics thing. i have a nice lil setup for a few years and they are gettin kinda wore out. Now I would like to build a nice clean sounding system. i am now looking for amps, The is a few terms i just dont know how it plays into sound it produces, like channel seperation dbs, sound to noise ratio, damping factor, so i would just like to know what they mean and what are good numbers for each, I have a amp but it was given to me so i dont think it will be all that great it is a boss pd 4000, dont know what it is all about good bad alright? If it isnt that great i am going to buy a new one, I am planning on buying 4 premier 30004spl, is there an amp u can recommend. Thanks for any help!
