Need a HU suggested

Ok my bro just got a 04 impala and he needs a new HU, so can anyone recommend a good one for 300 or less? he just needs a good one that will last him awhile.

ok am thinkin about the eclipse cd5000, you guys think i should go with that one off ebay for around 350 or is there something better i can get for that price?

Clarion DXZ865MP... Goes for 350 at sonicelectronix brand new. Great head unit and its touch screen. Has the 24bit dac converter, while the CD5000 does not. Clarion has better SQ as well.
