clarions supposed to shut off amps on cds??

i just got a new deck, a clarion dxz955mc. it sounds great when i play the radio, but i put in a cd, and it plays it fine, but it shuts off both my amps. whats the crack?

You are tied into the power antenna turn on lead, switch to the amp turn on lead and you will be ok.
