for 180+ pricetag for a preamp, why not just get a 200 dollar reciver thats 5.1+ with the preouts?
You said it yourself in your first post "its for music, not movies btw." So why get the DTS, Pro Logic and Dolby Digital surround sound processing...when your not going to use it?

What I think Ngsm means is something to control what frequencies each beringer is getting. I'm not familiar with them but if they dont have on board crossovers, you'd be sending both full range signals.
