XDi 1100.5 - Arc Audio 5-Channel 1100W RMS Class D Full Range Amplifier

while i simply dont like class D full range this is one of the best sounding ones you can buy. you wont have to do any electrical upgrades to run it.. thats the only reason i recommended it. well that and it does have some great output filters and its processor controlled..

this is a better option for a budget.. still a decent amp by all means they just don't build them anymore

this amp is one of the best amps you can by as well. sound better than D not quite as efficent.. uses a typical a/b swiching and power supply but uses more than one output rail that can be swiched off and on extremely fast to make hte amp alot more efficent..

I had an audison 5.1k for a couple years. Can do 3 way active on 2 or 3 inputs. Great hybrid amp. Ab on fronts and powerful class d sub channel. Can usually be hot for around $600 if one pops up.

If you wait a bit this will be out. I don't think I've seen a 1000 watt 5 channel this small.

And it has high level summing, I'm pretty sure that's a first.

Would i be able to use the 5th channel to power mids if need be?

As far as budget ,its not a good one.... around 300 or less i was looking at some ppi amp, Power Acoustik BAMF4500/5D,

Why the hell would you wanna power mids with a sub channel?? On that MA amp I suggested, which I strongly suggest is because I owned one and is pretty small for a footprint with lots of power on tap. 800 w @ 1 ohm for the sub channel, 4 ch 120x4

Hertz has a new 5-channel HDP-5 that is active capable and less expensive than the nicer Audison LRx5.1k or SR5.

Not a bad price. I've seen those upwards of 350+ depending upon condition.

This was the most sought after amp for a long time. The NX5 has similar power ratings.
