need a couple thoughts

I am 16 years old. I just bought a 1996 candy apple red chrysler sebring convertable jx.56,000 miles. I want to in interiormake all lighting green because around key thing it lights up green and on cup holders it lights up green and spedomoter lights are green. So i was going to put in green map light bulbs and trunk and glove box to make all interior lighting green. What do you think. I was also trying to get a cheap pair of 15" rims under 300 shipped if possible.Any sites would be loved. I also wanted to get the windows tinted. Let me know your ideas and wha you think. Also wanted to get L.E.D.S for under my car. Would look hot at night when i go on vacation to beach.... I know this isnt the greatest car in the world but i had a 1990 grand am 4 door before this.That is a big change. Paint on the sebring is in exellent condition and so is whole car. I was also looking for euro taillights but cant find em for the sebring but as i said let me know youur thoughts and imput.Thanks alot

if u get rims do it right at least, need to get at least 17s, i woudl say 18-19 for that car.

ditch the underbody neons, trust me.

i wasnt going to get the universal pedals. I was going to get the neon pedals that are made to fit my car exactly. And there is a way i can do it were you cant see any wiring but i will think about it. Any other thoughts or recondmendations

neon isnt as cool as everyone makes it out to be, i think the neon phase has already come and gone, and you are about 2 years too late, the new cool thing is chrome wheels.

to tell you the truth i dont do what every one else does. Or i dont do it because ppl say its cool. I am asking for opionions and i do stuff cause i like the ideas and i think it looks nice or cool

If you want to do those things to your car, and think they'll look good ... go right ahead.

It's your car, do what you want to it.

As long as you like it, that's all that matters.

I wouldn't go overboard with the neon lights and colored bulb replacement (wrong color and you're looking at a ticket), and I would definitely suggest saving up and spending a touch more on some larger rims. But that's just my opinion.

I personally just bought a 14 dollar underbody LED accent light kit from Advance Auto Parts and stuck them under the dash. It looks tite and a tad better than neon. You might want to rig them on a switch so you can leave them on when you go into a resturant or something, because they draw barely any juice at all. It will be pretty much all you need, although under the seats would be cool too. As for the colored bulbs, they **** ass if you need them for actual light. If it's a light you don't use but comes on anyway, that is a place for a colored bulb.

Rims and tires (yes, you need tires with those rims as well) that would actually look cool would be massively expensive. 2500 at least. Remember, you have to be able to have fun on the side. Don't miss a single party working overtime to get ****ing rims and tires.

The wal-mart spinner hubcaps, although 'born in the hood' in every way shape and form, would probably suit your need well, despite apprehension many may have towards them.

Underbody light kits still are cool, just know when to have it on and when to have it off. LED ones that can cycle colors are pretty nifty, I've been looking into one myself.

Basically what you need to do is macho-ify your car. Anything that does not do so should be not done. If there is a body kit for that car or some kid of rediculous hood scoop, spoiler, exaust system, etc etc that will make it look like a man owns it, do it. Those Sebring things are about as bad as new VW Beetles for sex based driver expectations.

Good luck, and don't spend too much money, unless you have it to spend, of course.
