Im looking for a new sub. Im looking for somthing what will take 600-1000 watts and enjoy being in around 2.5 cubes ported. I box will behind my seat in a single cab truck. Theres about 1.5-2 inches for the front of the box to the back of the seat. I want somthing that will get loud but also not sound horrid.

no thanks... Im looking somting like K, SE or somthing like that im just trying to find which would work best with around 2.5 cu ft.

a k or an se will do about the same...

some have said the k's get a tid bit louder than the se's...

But i think it depends on the install //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I absolutely call BS on that...

The SE should be able to murder the little K series in any applcation....unless its a botched install.

but ur proly right on that, cuz the k's dont get as mutch power and what not..

i would think you could even go with an HC in that setup. it would bang like hell with 1000 watts. the only questionable part is the box size...i would check what recommended sizes are but i cant get into RE's website

how would 2 Kicker L7 12's in a 4ft^3 ported to 37 or so run off a kicker 1200.1 do for spl. Or is there something else that will get louder (2 12's) in the same box with then right power for around the same price (like ebay price).

Dave, what I can squeeze out from behind my seats is around Top depth= 5", Bottom depth= 12" , Height=14, and Width = Max of 54". This is all I could muster up because of the single cab and being 6'4" doesnt help either. Would an Se 12" or 15" Be happy in this home with around 600-1k watts?

I'd recommend a Lethal Injection 12. They get nasty at 2 to 3 cubes. But what do I know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That is the great thing about Maestro products, they are very thorough. Downside is the price tag.

How I would approach it is install your new amplifier and start using it. Install a voltage gauge and if you see your voltage lowering then add...
