need a cap for the kenwood 9401d

what do you guys recomend for the amp thats pushing 900rms regulated at 1ohm with 8gauge power and ground wire with a 60amp fuse???

The amp isn't doing 900w with only a 60A fuse.

8 gauge wiring sucks run 4 gauge or something and do the big 3.

Its not going to work to fix the dimming well. Thats never what it was designed to do. All it is meant for is to filter the AC out of the DC line. This provides a cleaner power to the amp. Therefore making the internal caps work less, that causes the amp to cool down a bit, and that can help the amp become more efficient. This might help slightly but not enough to matter.

Do the Big 3. Get rid of that 8ga. 4ga minimum. Then if its still a problem, look to upgrade your alternator.

Oh, well that explains why the first car that ever used them was never burped and was uilt before there was such a concept...they were installed as power line conditioners, nothing more than an external noise filter on the power wires.
