need a cap for the kenwood 9401d

Its not going to work to fix the dimming well. Thats never what it was designed to do. All it is meant for is to filter the AC out of the DC line. This provides a cleaner power to the amp. Therefore making the internal caps work less, that causes the amp to cool down a bit, and that can help the amp become more efficient. This might help slightly but not enough to matter.

Do the Big 3. Get rid of that 8ga. 4ga minimum. Then if its still a problem, look to upgrade your alternator.

Actually, they were invented to give competitor's amps extra boost when they burp.

However, do The Big 3, stickied on this sub-forum, change the wire to a bigger gauge (Quite frankly, using that 8awg is dangerous)...

Also, why are you happy about dimming?

Dimming sucks.

How many real competitors have you seen add caps to their SPL vehicles?!? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif
