Need a battery fast!

My current battery is my car is ancient, average battery.. I need advice on what brand and size battery for my honda civic sedan.. I have stock alt for now, but will be upgrading when I have time and money. I will be running aq2200(1 ohm) and cadence 1502 ( at 150wx2) all set with multimeter to pull necessary amperage.. so please post up guys! I need to get one asap, or before my dad forces me to buy a battery at advanced auto! ha

Sears Die Hard Platinum is a **** good battery and Sears is pretty easy to get warranty out of since you can pretty much walk in with it anywhere in the country. My .02$

I would do a battery relocate to the rear and run 2 batteries in back where both help the car both help the system. Then when you can get your alternator you are less likely dealing with a sulfated battery that has crystalized and started ballooning due to engine heat. Closer your batteries are to the amps the better. The less deep cycling you do of your batteries the better because the same thing that kills an under charged battery is the same thing ,although more spread out, that kills a more deeply cycled battery faster......

Ill see if I can fit that.. I will have a single slot ported 15 taking up 3.3 cubes.. so I dont have much room left as it is.. ****, my battery being so far from my alt isn't at all bad?

You get less voltage drop having a power source back up by the amps plus engine heat on a battery being cycled more is not a good thing.

If you are going to buy make sure you buy new, unless you test a used battery you have no idea how well it is taken care of.
