Need a 4 channel mp recommendation please..

I have 8, 4Ohm 6'1/2's and Need a amp recommendation to drive them..

I was seriously looking at the PG 8.0.4 from Ikesound for 149..

I am guessing I just double wire 2 speakers to each terminal?

Any other suggestions for Amps?? 2 amps wont work as there will not be a engine runnign during there playtime.

Do you have any certain budget in mind?

And your idea of just wiring two speakers to each output will work fine so long as the amp is 2 Ohm stable in stereo (most, though not all, amps are)

why do you need 8 speakers? also PG makes great amps. however i prefer the older tantrum/titaniums better

Well, 4 in the boat and 4 on the tower..

I do Believe the PG is 2 ohm stable.. I was hoping to keep it aroun 170$ up to 200$...

The octane amp will do just fine. Although some people may say that the old titaniums/ tantrums were better and what not, the point is that they sound no better than the newer lines. Good luck
