in the wheel well of a chevy HHR. without the spare tire, its a pretty large space for some subs. should have plenty of room since its gonna be sealed.

ill have 1500w rms to play with, but i need 3 subs, theres no other option. the reason is becuase the amps are 2 4ch amps. one amp will be bridged at 500w x 2, the other will be ch 1/2 on the mids, and ch 3/4 bridged for 500w. so i have 500w x 3.

im thinking 3 8's or 3 10's. nothing beefier than a ~500-700w rated sub, becuase its pointless, i wont ever add more power or upgrade. im just looking to get decently loud, but sound great, and his pretty good lows (for being a sealed box)

suggestions? right now im thinking SA-8, SA-10, or maybe IA lethal injections. maybe some SSA subs?

amps BTW will be 2 Crescendo 100C4's.

im going to measure the wheel well tomorrow and see roughly how much space im working with, then subtract a little for displacement and the actual wood/fiberglass of the box.

AA Arsenal or Chaos, i run 3 lethal injections personally, rated @ 600 rms. I can tell you, if you run LI's in an enclosure to spec, you wont be disappointed.
ive heard a pair on an AP15001d, and it sounded GREAT. it was ported though. have you heard them sealed?

im thinking about the SA-8's, but i kinda wanna do something thats not quite a boner (like sundown, IA is becoming more and more popular now too, etc)

even though not many in my area have sundown (other than local forum guys mostly) i still kinda wanna a brand that isnt used much. does sound splinter still make subs, i heard they're outta stock, or maybe it was just the rl-p's. not sure. how about stereo integrity?

Why not keep the Havocs?
