Need 800 watts of class D at 4 ohms

Hey guys. I am looking for a class D amp that will put out 800 watts at 4 ohms. I know that's a weird impedance, but I really like my Dayton Audio Reference 15" (RSS390HO). It is on the sub channel of my Eclipse XA5000 right now, but I am considering feeding it more power. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The Precision Power BK1800.1D gets close at 700W RMS @ 4 ohms. The JBL GTO-1001EZ is rated at 650W @ 4 ohms but it's capable of making more power with a stable 14.4V and adequate current delivery. You're basically looking at a fairly large amplifier to do what you're asking for. I do not recommend you waste your money on Audiopipe and the related generic amps.

Crap. That's what I was afraid of - both of those are designed to make more power than I need at a lower impedance, making them more expensive. I may just wait for an old Rockford Fosgate 225.2 to show up on eBay. I've found them for as little as $100 and they make 690 watts into 4 ohms. Thanks for the reply though. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Edit - I found a Rockford Fosgate bd1000a1 that makes 762 watts at 4 ohms. It's way more efficient than the 225.2.
