Need 8" Recommendations

Car: 2006 Civic Si non-navi

The stock system already has a single 8" free-air. I want to just run a single 8" for now in the stock location.

I was wondering what 8" would be good for free-air? I would like to get the RL-i8 but I don't know how well it would perform in free-air.

Sorry for bad pictures. I just took them real quick. I can quick away at the square thing to allow for larger magnets/deeper sub.

Alright. Well I might eventually get one but I just want to use the stock location for now. Only amp I have currently to use is my little Pioneer GM3000T so 100 @ 4ohm. Yes, it's a little girl but my 601.1 is being sold.

Anyone know of any places to buy an ID8?

The RL-i 8 needs little space. Could you some how seal it in to the stock location. They can be put in as small as .2 sealed. I am not sure about free air but you can ask Mike at SS. He will get back to soon he has great customer support.

Image Dynamics FTW, ESPECIALLY IB.....just keep in mind that the two chambers have to be COMPLETELY sealed from eachother...

Made by Pioneer. It's factory, yes.

The sub is, not sure if I'd say, completely sealed off. But its on the rear deck with the rear speakers. It's in the middle, facing into the cabin but the magnet is in the trunk/facing the trunk. So I really need a free-air sub.
