2 12'' CVR vs 2 10'' AA assassin

So i was thinking of selling my 2 CVRs for about 135ish to pay for 2 new 10'' assassins. i was just wondering if this would be worth it and if the assassins are really that great for the price. my guess is ill be gaining in the sq department but would i lose output?

no, i thought you were asking about R's vs ASSASINS, my bad. i had no complaints on my CVR's though, even ran off a PA 3000 with no problems.

You should definately gain plenty in SQ, and nearly match the output in SPL with the right box. Its kinda an unfair comparison though with 12s V 10s....save a little more for the 12s //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Ive heard the CVRs in the kicker box you have (If thats the one with the 4 inch ish port to the side) and they sounded like shit to my ears.....my four assassin 8s sounded WAY better and were as loud....

i got rid of the kicker box within the first couple weeks i had it because it does sound terrible. hmm maybe i will put the extra 40$ and just go with twelves. thanks for the help.
