Need 5 Deep Cycle Batteries(Help!)

I need to put 5 deep cycle batteries in my trunk to power a 5000Watt amp. The problem I am having is finding them. Of course I found all the Optima batteries and Kinetic, but I would like to avoid 200$ a pop for a good battery. I did see the Stinger batteries, but I'm not sure of the feedback on them. Does anyone know from experience how these perform as compared to the optima's? Or, what would be the best alternative to the Optima that is cheaper? If I go this route, how will it affect my system as a whole? I am not too sure what I am looking for in a battery as far as specs for a 5000watt amp so if someone could explain that would be better.(IE how many CCA's I will need from each battery for 5000Watts) I don't want to be a pain in the *** though. Thanks.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I was told I would need 5 Batteries, so if there is a 2-4 Battery combination that puts out more power or "CCA's"and would properly run 5000watts please inform me. I am thinking a 300-350 HO Alternator which will be isolated.

unless your planning on running your system with your car off a lot you wont need 5 deep cycles for 5kw

The first thing I would spend money on is the HO alt. You will need that more than batteries. I'll never understand why people insist on running a stock pile of batteries but then never want ot spend the money on a new alt. Buy the alt. first.

I just am looking at prices for everything and trying to get a general idea of what all I need before I make any purchases- I plan on getting a 300-350 Alt from iraggi which will be isolated- also I'm not trying to run stock batteries or go the cheap route I would just LIKE to conserve money if possible- i dont mind paying 200 a battery as long as there isnt one that does the same thing for cheaper is all=P thanks for input though-

Ok so would you guys think it would be a poor decision to go with an alternative battery as long as it is a group 31 type deep cycle batteries or would the alternative work just as or almost as good as an optima?? If so, whats the next best?If the optima is THAT much better then an off brand (ie stinger) then i dont mind paying the extra- thanks and sorry for heing a pain in the *** i just want to make this woofer bump like it was made to //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif thanks again

stinger isnt an off brand its an oddyssey. in alot of cases people consider them better than an optima. as far as i know though they actually cost more than an optima lol
Oh maybe I seen something else- I thought I seen them for 100$ - ill have to check again - sorry didnt mean to refer to stinger as off brand : D

if you want to go "cheap" but good and safe look into deka intimidators. if it is for daily use (not competing) they are totally fine. i like kinetik better but then again i dont know of anywhere to get 2400's shipped for the same price as the deka g31. basically how i look at a battery is how well it backs up the electrical system, how long it can run the system (key off) and how special of a charger might i need if it needs charged from a near dead state or jump started...

ok dude thanks- well since everyone is saying I only need 3 deep cycle batteries then I think im gonna go with optima in the end anyway =D thanks for the help guys
