Need 4 ports instead of 1 and they aren't the same size..Help?

So I need to figure out how to get the proper port size when using 4 ports that aren't the same size. In the end there will be 2 pairs of matching ports but the pairs will be different sizes..

My friend knows how to determine proper size for 4 equal ports but not 2 pairs of different sized ones.

Any ideas how to calculate this?

Never heard of people using multiple different sized ports....not sure how that is going to work out for you....the size of the port determines the frequency at which that box resonates at. Having multiple ports of differnt sizes...I don't know if that is a good thing. It may have some good effects for blending, but I forsee you having issues with peakiness in that box.

I've never seen it done. Guy wants a funky shaped box and were just trying to figure out how to do it or if its even possible. My understanding is we can get accurate tuning with 4 equal sized smaller ports as opposed to one larger one but what if those 4 ports aren't identical...?

They would all be open.

Also, try to shoot for 9-13 sqin of port area per cubic foot with aeros. You don't need quite as much area with them. One large aero would be better because of less surface area to restrict airflow.... But do what you want

This is true. You can do the same with 1 or 4. However, they do need to be the same size or you'll never be able to get the proper tuning. The only way I can see someone getting away with 4, 2 shorter than the other 2 is if you planned on plugging 2 at a time for comp or daily. Is there a reason you want to do 4 rather than 1 or 2 bigger ports?
