Hey guys,

I recently got a stinger SPV35 battery to put in my trunk. I made a post about where to put all the wires and stuff, and it looks like im gonna need quite a bit because of my car (1983 caddilac deville). I have 2 questions:

1. Will 50ft be enough to run a 2 strands from the front to back, like front + to back + and front - to back -, and then have enough left to hook up my amp and all?

2. What is the cheapest way i could get that amount of wire and still buy a good quality brand?

thanks!

Dont think 50 feet will do it.

I had over 60 in my neon and you caddy is alot longer forsure.

Do you mean 2 runs of each?

2 runs of power

&

2 runs of ground?

If only one run of each 50 will be fine. just not sure the way it was worded.

what i gather that is 4 runs of wire? if so 50 feet only equals about 12.5 feet per wire. that is a long car so if it were me i'd buy a 100 ft. roll. always i good idea to buy more then you need. as far as wire goes, http://www.weldingsupply.com wire will work and is cheap, or try the http://www.knukonceptz.com klm wire. whichever is cheaper
x2

I would get the knukonceptz klm wire if you can afford it. It should not be much more then the welding wire.

last i checked it was cheaper. i normally buy weldingsupply, but i bought klm last time and found the welding wire to be more flexible
Really that I didnt know.

I thought that welding wire was stiffer and about the same price give or take a few cents per foot.

Thanks for pointing that out.

so i should go with 100ft of the wire from welding supply? ill make up a diagram here on photoshop real fast and show yall what i need

everybody says it's stiff but it's the most flexible 1/0 gauge wire i have used
Thank you I am currently looking for some more 1/0 gage wire for my new install and you just made me think alittle.

You got yours from weldingsupply.com ?

That would help us help you on lenght.

Yea man 50ft is pretty **** close, I would think it wouldnt be enough. Check out these guys http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZcoppercableman
I wouldn't go anywhere else. I bought a 50ft roll off there and had my screen name printed into the side of the wire for free. Great guy to deal with and I will not go anywhere else for wire. The wire came just like it was described in the auction, good stuff and flexible as hell.
