Encore - best OptionAutoPage - Second Best

DEI - Viper, Python, etc - Good

Alarms are 95% install. But buy one of these ^^^ & you will be happy!

Resurrecting this thread rather than starting a new one on the same topic. I'm trying to pick an alarm and debating between Encore E4 and the Viper 350 2-way Responder, or similar models from the same companies. You seem pretty high on Encore - have you had a lot of personal experience with them? I understand they've only been out a short time but they are a reputable spin off from autopage.

I'm looking for 2-way transmitter, shock sensor, keyless entry, motion sensor (probably the DEI 508D unit as an add on). I don't need/want auto start. The car is a convertible, and I will be having it installed for me.

Any input is appreciated.

the viper 5901 is what i have in my truck.

has very that you want, and you can add on the smart start unit which if you have a smart phone it will use your cell phone as a remote with unlimited range. it will make your phone go off when some one is messing with the car/truck.

the viper 5902 is the exact same unit with a fancyer remote. the remote from the 5902 will work with the 5901
