mystery speaker

My front right boston accoustics POS series won't play when it's in my car. The left side plays fine, wonderful speaker bang for the buck. Only thing is, my right one will ONLY play when it's outside of the door. I don't think the magnet can be touching the door, because the other one works?confused: I checked all the connections and even the terminals aren't anywhere near the speaker, double you tee eff? If it's any help, it has tinsel slap like a mother fuker.
