Mysterious Amp Prob...

Right now I have a Memphis PR1KD hooked up to 2 ID V.3's running them at 2 ohms. My headunit is an Alpine 9847, and I also have a Memphis EQP4 thats running everything. Problem is lately the subs havn't sounded as loud, and today I went and pulled the "left" RCA on the amp out, sounded the same. Put it back, and took out the right, and the subs got twice as louder. It cut out for about a min, and now its playing like normal again. If I put in the other RCA, it sounds about half the power and doesn't sound great at all. what makes you think it IS fried because of that?

check if this other rca cable isnt shorted or anything

Lol, could that be why my amp is overheating on me now? Still works it just overheats and turns off.
