wow... just wow.... u know "the reason it aint be poundin" is prolly cuz u jumped into this whole stereo buisness without any knowledge.... i mean a guy asked ya if both coils are hooked up and u say that ure sub is in 2 ohm... if i were u, i would unhook everything read the piss outta this forum and learn to do all that shit the right way and then lets see if u get decent results... and the reason its not loud (if it is working at all) is cuz it is a single 12 type r in a prefab sealed box... even if it says JL on it, its still a shitty prefab...

Hype R's aren't any louder than a bottom of the line sub if they're sealed.And IMO they sound even worse.

Pay a professional, it's obvious you have no clue what you're doing.Next thread ya make I bet ya it'll be "my amp blew up" or "my sub stopped working" or something along those liens.

ok i got my sub hooked up in 2 ohm my amp is a mono amp it has two pos and two neg so i just hooked it up to first pos and first neg and it dont beat y? is it hooked up wrong or wat amp says its giving 550 rms but only lil bass

Maybe it's your bad grammar. Or it could be the lack of punctuation. That will cause you to lose 10db right there.
