Still, you know you'd cry if your shit got lit on fire. Working hard on your shit and it goes up in flames. Insurance or not, it's not a funny thing.
please don't be so on-point with posts' please, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif others won't know what's going onSo, it has nothing to do with the fact that you overdrove a speaker for an extended period of time, causing the vc temp to rise to the point of ignition?
RE Audio did not install your Subwoofer, nor did any of its dealers, this is the reason you pay a professional to do your work.
As far as flammability, as far as I know, most "PAPER" products are flammable.
Did I run 4kw to an 06 xxx daily for a week?? YES I did. Under a careful watchfull eye and ear. Did i play the thing for an hour straight ?? NO

My opinion is that you popped a coil, didnt know it.. fried a tinsel lead... let them just arc together... spark..spark..spark...spark.. then just kept on rockin' until you noticed a flame. Sorry..
Hope insurance covers you.
i dont cry over material bullshit, espeically when its my faultStill, you know you'd cry if your shit got lit on fire. Working hard on your shit and it goes up in flames. Insurance or not, it's not a funny thing.
Okay, so im not gonna read the entire thread, but why didnt you just take the box out and let it burn?...strangely its pretty funny everyone hearing about it not believing it...I wanted to think the same, but its true the only thing salvagable on my truck is the bed of truck...so im sure you all are wondering what the **** happened...so let me explain..
I was heading to work bumping like I normally do and have been doing for awhile, but I noticed a burning(not a metal coil burning, but like paper) so my first instinct is its the sub so sure enough its the spider thats burning(no flames mostly contained burning) so I pull off call Tuan who I bought it from ask what I should do(stupid I know but it was my first response) he told me to take it out and let it burn out or put it out. So after that I called my mom to let her know I was heading back home and to get a screwdriver ready because I was going to pull it out...but as I was driving home the fire began to build and started to flame outside the sub, I pulled off...disconnected the wires from the sub and poured water onto the sub, nothing happened the fire just began to build and caught the carpet of my sub box on fire and then my seats...and then from there, there was no saving it...I ended up with this:
Liability insurance FTL! I dont know what do from here...it was warranted bought authorized but I have no idea what to do...what do ya'll think...alright im gonna go back to crying now. Peace
read the thread..you'll find out:laugh: ..its a funny storyOkay, so im not gonna read the entire thread, but why didnt you just take the box out and let it burn?
