my temp is going to be a pair of type r's with a niche 6000d on the pair! they will be getting 2400 rms at 1 ohm. the amp is modded but with this setup the mod will not be used! the enclosure is 2.5 each tuned to 38. should get fricken loud with out any issues. now the reason im using this temp setup is because i was just challenged today by the guy i told you about in my other thread a week ago. he is using 2 12 w7's and a jl 1000/1. his box is tuned low and it is in a suburban. it is tuned to 30 hz! he said he did 151. but im skeptical about that score considering he is using 4 awg on stock elec. with no upgrades whatsoever. not to mention he is giving them half the power. it is in a 99 suburban. mine is in a pathfinder. i beleive there will be no comparison due to the fact my box is pretty much a fart box and his is not. i have 2 1/2 x's the power in a more confined space! i have a lot more knowledge then he does, he has no idea of what his box is tuned to. i on the other hand know what his box is tuned to because he doesnt pay attention:naughty: , also he has no clue how to burp a sub! he play's his music before his comp's and we all know that kill's the electrical in which will make his score be more dissapointing. so in other word's i will have no problem destroying him! woot for me lol just thought id keep you all informed like i promised
