I recently bought two 12" Kicker L7's with a 3000.1 watt powerbass amp RMS at 1500. i was wondering how i could keep my battery from running down, and i would also like to hear if this is a good setup.

my wiring kit is 4 gauge, soon to be 0

also my speaker wire is 14

yes big 3, another battery in the bACK, HO alternator maybe.

set up will be loud if you have the right box and the electrical to back it.

u will need at least big 3. ive never ran 1500 watts but if big 3 dont work might need battery

my battery is currently running 14 volts idling without my subs on. on the loudest hits i drops to about 10-11 not sure, haven't used my reader yet. also I'm not sure what you all mean by the HO alternator.. also my battery is only 2 months old so it's pretty strong. also i have a custom dual ported box for my subs.

you need to do the big 3 in 1/0 and add an extra battery or two, your voltage shouldn't drop below 12. If it's still dropping after big 3 and batteries you'll need a new alternator. Is the box a prefab or did someone actually build it for you?

my box was made by a car audio specialist from cartronics in franklin tn.

also i was saying my power is dropping without any mods done yet. i plan on ordering some wire asap and getting this done. after that it should help because my alternator is a beast. its a 95 silverado. not sure what the output is but it pushes a lot.
