100x2, its not a super powerful receiver or anything, its just rated to deliver that power from 20hz to 20khz at like 0.08% THD.Love those speakers. Can't wait to ditch my Mirage speakers for some B&Ws. I also use a Denon receiver. What is your receiver rated at @ 8ohms??? Not trying to be nosey but I would like to know how my receiver will drive a pair of those main speakers.
Used to be an EE... Now, not so much... The Engineering college at UC sucks BAWLS....I enjoy mine a lot as well. I also assume that EE stands for Electrical Engineer, which is kind of funny since I am studying to be an Electrical Engineer.
Yea, I didn't have that kind of money, lol. Anyway, I am at Michigan Tech, gonna be a third year student there this fall.Used to be an EE... Now, not so much... The Engineering college at UC sucks BAWLS....

Well, technically the DVD player I am using has 24 bit 96khz DACs in it and when measured puts out theoretically perfect CD audio when measured. It was reviewed way back in the day in Stereo Review and it measured as well as any CD player they had ever tested they said. I am using analog interconnects anyway as this receiver does not have digital inputs. If you really want to see a BIG upgrade on those speakers, find a store around you that sells Arcam and pick up a CD Player and some good analog interconnects.
You won't regret it...
