well i dropped over 400 in deadner, a batt, batt terminals, and other install accessories.... waited a month then bought my deck, comp's and comp amp.. all new..

now im waiting/ saveing money for a new 2000wrms amp.. hopeing to be bumping by mid april myself...

I went through the same thing years ago when I went with a PC for a source unit. It took me 2-3 years to gather everything and do the research. Then it's been another 3 years of learning. Mostly on the software/DSP end, but I've still been changing my audio system as well. It's an addiction.

You're doing it the right way though. If you take a little longer, save more, and use quality components, your going to be happier in the end.

i ordered my aq2200 last night.. not sure what subs yet.. probly 2 15 sx's or type r's and need a comp amp and deck agin.. each check i will buy one thing

sht it takes me forever. Before i bought my house i had a alpine 9853, alpine MRD-M1000 and a 15" Q, took me 3-4 months to get all that and the box of course, then i sold it after a few weeks to put the down payment on my house.

Now im slowly building up again, ive got the massive 3000, and within the next few days should have a 800.4 on its way as well, then its time to find 2 15" Qs with BP, comp., and a new deck. That's a nice amp. I'm thinking of getting rid of the kx2500 and picking up one of those. Then another down the road...

I feel the same way man but it think I just have bad luck like this last time I waited for my sub to come in and then my box took for ever to get finished built, and now that I have everything my **** amp takes a shit, so now sending it in and more waiting
