before i put my big 12" rockford T1's in i could feel a diff in acceleration and breaking with my car.. these monsters along with my heavy box weighs down my trunk just too much for me... i was thinking about mayb going with 1 L7 15? i have no idea where to even begin i just baught these subs along with my new rockford t10001db amp.. and i dont even see the full potential comeing out of these subs, i mean **** this amp was expensive enough i thought it would slam these subs but instead is killing my car both in weight and power assumption.. that amp draws alot of current let me tell you... what do i dooooo lol

Buy a bigger alternator?

I'm surprised that you didn't notice more of a difference in acceleration and brakeing putting on the 22's.

get a capacitor. 1.5 farads.

and let me tell you, that t1 is badass. i saw a video, this guy had 6 15 inch t1's in his car. never seen the top of a car move quite like that. if you want i'll find the clip

i think he has this in his grand prix.
My mistake, I believe the comment still stands with 20's though.

I think you are on the right track by considering a single sub though. Should save a decent amount of weight.

If it's drawing too much current, check around for the BIG 3 and maybe look into adding a new battery. Caps are pointless 99% of the time.

If that doesn't work maybe a second maybe, and then even further, maybe a new alternator.

why don't cap do anything?

^ don't start another one of these cap threads guys. Everyone has their own opinions and don't clutter this guys thread up with worthless babble.

An alternator would for sure take care of the draw issue.
