Indeed. The RUX is just a ton easier to adjust on the fly. The 9965 does indeed control it, but several more steps to do what the RUX can do in one.
The monitor is going in my custom center console. For aesthetics, this is going to work better for me then a double DIN unit shoehorn'd into the dash. Also why not get a W205, or any Alpine indash instead of running a separate monitor, unless this monitor is for the rear of the car?
Whatta you think? Are you talking to me? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
yup, going in the dakota. Dash will hold the 9965, monitor will be below the HU in a custom center console, and RUX is going in the overhead console, molded in to the flip down sunglasses storage area.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifIndeed.
I've had extensive experience with both, and just think once it is setup... it won't need to be touched much really. At least if it's tuned correctly.
Also, is this going into the truck in your avatar? (Dakota)... Molding the dash to fit stacked single DINs or are you relocating something else?

I figured by now you'd know my posting patterns and that I add unsubstantial posts in large quantities. I also have a sexy anus as well which attracts both genders. Perhaps I'll exit the thread now.Whatta you think?

Who's doing all the work, your buddies shop? Or you?
Shouldn't be too hard to locate the RUX up top, done some similar things at the shop before... should work out great. Don't let your arm get too tired reaching up there...
Lol.
