I'm looking to a amp for my TC-3000. I'm looking to get a Alphasonik PMA1000DA or a Hifonics BXi 2006D. Right now I have a Hifonics BXi 1206D. How good are the Alphasonik.

Have you tried firing the box at the rear? If not I would highly suggest trying it out!

well i have no way of testeing actual power but i can say i reaaaaally like this amp it doesnt kill me with dimming i actually dont get any at all even at idle and im pretty happy with the box how it is im not a spl competitor so im not to worried about it next is deadening i have a few cans of great stuff im gunna fill my doors with then cover in 2 layers of the stuff they use at my local shop 150 bux for 150sqft and its thicker then dynamat extreme i reallly like the amp i can feel a major difference comeing from a 1606d to this i can tell its alot more power

Thickness is not the only measurement of a deadening mat's performance. For that price I seriously doubt its better than DE.
