My subs going on 8 years strong!!

why would a sub not last eight years?

Would you be able to hang on to the same sub for 8 years? I couldnt. 8 years is a pretty long time. i know in my car a sub wouldnt come close to lasting that long.

hmmmm..... idk it's cheaper and i don't see a point to changing subs every year.

i don't see a reason why a sub should not last 8 years. if it wasn't abused and was taken care of it should last a good long time.

i can remember when i started car audio back in 1995 when i was running 2 MTX thunder 5000's 2 12's that is...you cannot find those subs anywhere anymore...i think they were 500w max...250w rms...cannot remember if they were dual or single 4's...they must have had a good 1 inch of xmax to them
