Well its coming tomorrow and so far i was planning on putting it in 1.2sealed but ive been reading people throw it in 1.8 as well so it can get low. Anyways how low in terms of hz can it get in 1.2? Also shape of the sealed box wont have any affect on the way it sounds right. I came up with H=15 W=15 D=13 for the 1.2, those are gross numbers. But since there are all kinds of ways to make 1.2 will any sound different?

I would also like to know this cause I'm going to be doing 2 of these in the back of my extended cab ranger. If I don't have enough room for 2 12's then i'll do 2 10's which don't require as much air space.

my rsd12d's are getting 900 watts each and are both sharing a ~1.9^3 ft box. They sound great and get pretty low, adding more than about .9 cu per woofer like I have would probably let them get lower though. You are going to be putting one subwoofer possibly in a box as big as I have two of mine in? I think that second box you're considering (1.8) is a tad on the large side.

Well i decided to go with the 1.2 and cut out the pieces, so tomorrow i will put it all together. I believe the sub should come tomorrow so that would be good.

Your doing a single 12? And how many watts are you putting to it? I'm thinkin about doin 2 with a 1000 watt at 1 ohm amp. Should be pretty loud in my little ranger, lol.

I will be installing my RSD12 tomorrow on a .95cf sealed box getting 600rms, I guess I will need to add about a 1.5lbs of polyfil to compensate such a small box

I will be giving it 800rms, maybe ill start at 600 and see how it likes it. But many people have said they can take alot so i got alot, lol.

I wish these would come in dual 2!! With single 4 I could only give it like 250, dual 4 only about 400!! I want to give it the extra 200 and have 600 at 1 ohm! I really want to give these a go!

Im gonna try a ported box next, what size do you think i should go with. I was thinking either 2.5@30hz or 2@30hz.

If it sounds like crap, dont come here wondering why it sounds so bad.. Do it right the first time..
