it was new it is a dual 2 ohm I had 2 of them running off of a eclipse xa1000 so I dont know exactly how much power

if it was at 1 ohm, not good. dunno if those are 1ohm stable.....looks like 500rms @2ohm and 320rms @4ohm

that wouldnt cause the sub to do that, i bet you could get that replaced under warranty due to manf defect if its brand new and was bought through an authorized retailer.

and solox, what do you want for the Solo X 12? any trades?
