My Sub flew right through the windshield!!!

WTF?????did you have your sub even in a box ? don't tell me your like some of the stupid people i seen who just set there sub on the floor saying it's heavy oh it won't move haha.

no the sub is inverted and i velcroed it , but the d9 is pretty heavey so kinda slammed on the sidewall and the push terminal snapped

My box wasnt held down either, I just used old yearbooks to keep it from slamming into my back bumper //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Either way, sucks, would've been cooler if it actually flew through the windshield ( w/ pics )

mines not bolted yet either, but like ^^^ it fits real nice so if it moves at all it only can move an inch either way left and right. still gonna bolt it down though. always a great idea. if you can get pics of the terminal, i am sure we can figure out how to fix it. most likely a case of glue, and or solder.

I was expecting some good pics judging from the title. But, I hope you take this opportunity to affix your enclosure to your trunk floor. L brackets, wood braces, etc would help stop this from EVER happening again. And, although it is funny, I have to be the martyr and let you know that you got lucky. You could have been injured. Good luck securing that enclosure!
