My sub and amp fried!!

Okay so i let my buddy borrow my car...he comes back and my amp (tt2250d) is HOT smells like it's burning and my sub has no output (18" MT). I test the coils and sure enough one is blown!! So looks like i gotta get it re-coned //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif ...i opened up the amp and all the circuitry looks normal and it powers up normally, but i tested it with another sub and there's no output. I bought it refurbed about a year ago...can i get this thing fixed somewhere or just cut my losses?

about the amp....the protect light isn't on and nothing looks fried just smells burnt...there's just no output. Does this sound fixable?

Whenever I lend my car our for any reason, I always remove the faceplate from my HU.
