I worked with Tech12Volt to build a sweet system. He's going to be working on the box for the next few weeks. Once it's finished up I'm going to order all the parts and get it assembled asap. Of course I'll post pictures //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif What do you guys think?

I have a 2008 Toyota Tundra SR5 Double Cab 5.7L.

Kenwood 8120 - Nav System, DVD Player, Bluetooth and XM/Sirius

CDT Audio ES 62i Fronts

CDT Audio CL 62cv Rears

Sundown 100.4 4 Channel Amp

Sundown 1000d Sub Amp

3 Boston Acoustics G1 10"

Custom Box - Will be similar to Deznutjob's box

Total = $3139 Shipped

way high on the box
That includes the subs I think... Any particular reason you are going with those components? At that price, you could get some VERY nice gear on here including the Morel Dotech Ovation 6, or the Hertz MLK165...

In general, for the price you are paying for everything, you can get VERY high end equipment..

forget the rear speakers, if anything a pair of coaxals or nothing at all. With the money you save on the rear speakers you should be able to get the AQ2200 $389and maybe upgrade to G2 with the power increase.

Sundown SAX 100.2 instead of the 4 channel. that shoudl be a bit louder for $$ increase.

If your set it will work out really well, However you might want to spend more on your front speakers as they are going to provide the majority of the sound that you are going to hear.

hmm the only comment i have is on substage and speakers i would say either

2 se10's

1 fi Q 12"

1 boston G5 12"

1 mach 5 IXL 12"

1 ssa ICON 12"

and for speakers, go to diymobileaudio.com and look at active 2 way and 3 way setups, i'd be willing to bet you could put together an AWESOME active 2 way for 500$, peerless seas and dayton(RS180 + RS28 maybe?) come to mind. anyways i just really suggest you search before you spend 500 on passives, 500$ for active 2 way you could not only get exactly what you want, but you could fine tune it afterwards

Trust me guys... James Taylor (tech12volt) knows Titans and Tundras VERY well. I've heard and seen at least 10 of his installs and they are all VERY good.

It will turn out nicely //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

oh i don't think anyone has any doubts it will turn out nicely, especially with components he listed, but were all cheap bastards and believe it could be done for less money is all. and me i just like an active setup over a passive.
