its a sickness, your lungs fill up with fluid, its especially dangerous if its not caught with in the first 2 days

Hey guys, I need some prayers for my son. for those of you that know me, It is Brandon, my youngest (he has special needs) He contracted Phenomena, this is his second day, and he has been fighting a fever of 102-104.5 for 2 days with a few hours of relief here and there. update:

Brandon made it through that episode, and is doing well, he has put on some weight also. He still has all the challanges that come along with Cerebral palsy, moderate deafness and spacticity, but for what he has been dealt, he absolutely amazes me. I don't know if he will ever walk or talk, I can only hope and pray that one day he will do well enough that he will be able to achieve his independance. I am working so hard to have enough money that when I pass, he will be taken care of. It has been such a blessing in some ways, selfishly, I have become a much better man, father and husband. in his 23 months on this earth he has schooled me for atleast 22 of them.

I do what to thank all of those who gave up their prayers, karma, thoughts or what ever. My son is still on this earth and smiling at me everyday!

I told my wife that he is the reason I need all my caraudio stuff, it is cheaper for me to make it louder than to pay for therapy. She didn't think that was very funny. I on the other hand have convinced myself that my theory is the correct path for him

Glad to hear this man. I can't say I believe in the whole "God" thing, but my prayers go out to who/whatever may hear them for your son. I have faith in the power of a positive environment, and I can tell that the amount of love you have for your kid has a lot to do with his getting better. I know how hard it is to stay positive when faced with these kinds of situations, but having a good family structure around you can work miracles.

Great to hear the good news. As others say stay strong. You know where you can go when you feel weak and think there is no place to turn. I'll try to keep you and your family in my prayers.
