thanks guys, He is in my left arm as I type, still sick, but the fever is 102 and under now. I am truly greatful for the support. My wife says I spend way to much time on CA.com, which she is probably right!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I am going to show her this thread and she may get an idea of what and who we are.Hope he feels better.
thanks a bunch, I will get them asapBasically "fever-all" is a mushy capsule full of tylenol (Acetaminophen) that you have to stick in your kid's butt about 2" and leave there; then put on a diaper.
If he's got a high fever, run to a pharmacy and give it to him asap, it works in like 20-30 minutes. You need the 120mg:

Only one every 4-6 hours. Follow the dosing, do not go over the rcommended.
IMO low grade fevers from 99-101.9 can be ok but need to be watched, when my kid goes over 102 I like to act fast, he can get to 104 quick and that's not healthy.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I really hate it when something happens to kids.Hey guys, I need some prayers for my son. for those of you that know me, It is Brandon, my youngest (he has special needs) He contracted Phenomena, this is his second day, and he has been fighting a fever of 102-104.5 for 2 days with a few hours of relief here and there. He hasn't slept for 24 hours. It looks like we will end up in the ER again tonight.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
On the lighter side, I don't want loans for a tribute system:crazy://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
Thanks in advance.
he is 20 months old, the test is basically the inject him just under the skin in the dermous, with tb. they wait 48 to 72 hours and check him for signs of reaction to the tb.Just curious... you said they checked him for TB... exactly what did they do? A skin test? Has he been checked out by a physician and/or on antibiotics?
Just curious...
And how old is he, exactly?
Good deal. The TB test... well... I wouldn't worry about that. Unless there's a real reason for him to have been exposed to TB, it's not really likely. I mean like no one in the family (practically LIVING with you) has it, etc. Doesn't sound like a TB-type presentation of the illness, either.
Surprised they didn't admit him... here they admit them for a little cough. It's ridiculous. As long as he's eating and drinking, on the ABX, he should be fine. There may be more complicating factors I'm not aware of, though... it is something to be taken seriously, but it is pretty run-of-the mill.
Good luck, and I'll say a prayer for your son.
