Alright, well over the next few weeks i will be installing some new stuff in my car and i figure i might as well get some before pictures on here.

Half of the speaker is blocked by the dash and half is blocked by the door panel, lol.

Where I will be putting the kickpanels when i get enough money for components:

Hopefully i can get them in there so they face right up through here (for good imaging):

Subwoofer box for my SX 15" (Better be comin next week, problems with RE //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif ):

Kind of a crappy job but it is my first attempt //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif . 4ft^3 after displacements (will be running at 600rms) 2.5x16.5x21.75 port tuned to 32hz. Will also be carpeting the box soon whenever i get the carpet in the mail from sounddomain.

Ok, that's about it for now, will keep you posted on the progress.

looking good, clean up those wires : ) you fiberglassing the kicks yourself? what components you looking at?

Ya, fiberglassing them myself, lookin to get some rainbow soundlines or ologyaudio's crossover/speaker design. And ya, DEFINITELY have to do something with those wires //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif .

Hmm, well i did it every 3 inches, someone on here said to do it every 3-4 inches so i did 3. On the left side there is alot because i punched 2 screws all the way through and put 2 extra in. Like i said, first time, wasnt all that great lol, but it should work.

how do you plan to fiberglass kicks in with that e-brake? I have an 88 taurus, basically the same car, and thats the only reason Im not doing kicks.

I have a '92 Taurus. If I had to glass pods for my speakers, I'd make door pods instead...

can you fit anything on the carpeted area of the door, underneath the windshield manual handle thing and to the end corner?

if you can you can make it out of FG and and angle it to fix imaging at least it will be out of the way.

You might wanna consider adding another front panel for that box...

That would increase the port size, and **** up the displacement of the subwoofer inside...I'll see how it does, if it proves to be a problem i guess i'll give it a go, but...i think it should be fine, why do you think that i need to add another front panel?

Try and work around it and if not, cut and weld.

Window handle radius almost goes all the way to the bottom corner of the door //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif , only way to fix that problem is to get a power window kit, and that would set me back alot more than makin kicks.

Lol ya, i beat the hell out of my car, i don't really take care of it. But i think once i got the system installed i'll treat it a little better, because i gotta make the system look good as well as sound good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif .
