2 l7 15's in a 10ft^3 box at 35hz, the box is not done yet i don't know if i want to paint it or carpet it and i still need to sand it down a little:

I have one question about them though, when im playing them at full volume they start to smell quite a bit, but its not a burning stinky smell its just that you can smell them, and its gets worse as it plays some, i checked the cone and its still cold they don't even get warm, so is it just that they are burning excess glue or what. i know my amp isn't giving them 1000rms each because my voltage drops to around 12.5 and i only play music.

If they are new, it is most likely the excess glue burning off.

if they were overheating the dust caps would be warm or so to the touch right?? they don't even get slightly warm but the smell is pretty bad if you play them hard. i know im not clipping the amp , so i guess its just excess glue.

Looks nice... but in the future that many screws is just overkill and might actually be worse then just a few as the wood may split... Looks nice though.
