I'm having my friend build the box so I'll post pics when the install is done. It will be for my 98 s-10. I got a 9856 Alpine head unit, 6.5 type r separates in the doors and type r 5x7 in the dash.

It sounded really nice in the showroom. The salesman put it up against a 12" type r in a ported box and the Pioneer sounded nice. Hopefully it will sound that good in my truck. I'll let you guys know. Aloha!!!

how did u fit 5x7's in the dash of ur s-dime? my 4x6 barely fit. nice stuff tho i almost went for the 3000spls too.

Yeah, wondered the same thing about u not getting a type R. I have heard that sub too, it sounded really good. Good luck on your box.

The Type R was probally in one of those Q-logic boxes as well. Which made it sound like crap I am positive.

whered u get ur CLEARS for the s-10?
