Well I just bought a 220 amp Iraggi Alternator out of the classifieds on here. I was told it would be a direct bolt on but its not. I called Dom at Iraggi and he said "there are two different types of large cases and that one won't fit your car." If it was the one I had thought it was it would fit. He said it would cost $50.00 plus shipping for them to switch it over to the right case. This sucks. Anyone know of a way to make it fit that would be cheaper? I have no idea how to weld so I wouldn't be able to make a bracket myself.

Two options.

1)pay the $50 and have Dom switch it.

2)even those the seller said all sales are final, he stated that it would fit...and it doesnt. He was in the wrong. I would contact him and explain your situation. He may give you your money back. If not, call the authorities and explain the situation to them. If he told you it fit and it doesnt, even though sales were final he was false advertising. You should be intitled to your money back.

Id do option #1 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I started to mention this, but in a situation like this, I think it should be up to him to confirm that the alternator would fit, instead of trusting the word of a private re-seller without anything other than a yes, it will fit. Ya know what I'm saying?

Absolutly.

Honestly, I would just exchange it. Maybe hit the seller up for half the cost since both parties are at fault. If he wont atleast pay half, leave him negative feedback //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
