the dust caps have me drooling. super nice subs gil
Thanks man. Props to Chris though, he built them. I'm really happy with them. Can't wait to see how they perform. Build won't be for a little while though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Have double 07 build the box and put plexi window in there to show off the Hulk green.
Dope a$$ subs kid, grats.
Gonna be inverted man. It's a shame I have to hide those purtty CF dustcaps, but the booty on these is definitely the sexier side.

plexi window would have to be nearly 1.5" to handle the pressure these puppys will put out.
One of the reasons I wanted to stay away from plexi if I could. That stuff ain't cheap.

Very nice, those were built well. Perfect for the car environment, gonna be very loud.
I'm happy with the t/s for sure. Should do well. Polishing up motors now!

So, finally finished polishing the other one! Here is a before/after comparison:

They turned out well. Just need to clear coat them now, and I'll be done with them. They're almost ready for the passive radiator setup I have planned :sneaky:

VERY NICE //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif It's amazing just how far some elbow grease will go on a dirty old piece of metal //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Check out this thread: How To- Sub Motor Polishing

Medium emery (scotchbrite) pads and brasso, kinda like wet sanding, worked best for me to take all the crap off the metal, and then I preferred Mother's for polishing. It wasn't exactly easy, and you may be able to find something better than those emery pads, but that's what I used all the way until I got to the polishing stage.

It was a lot of work man. Like, this is the most effort I put into any single part of my build. But I agree //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
