its a female boarder collie. 8 years old. shes laying in my brothers bed right now with him in it, so IDK what my dogs thinking. She obviously didn't like what he did to her, she was showing her teeth/growling/fighting while he was doing it. My parents left this morning, and the dog tends to run around when people are moving around the house. So she didn't get much sleep, which is why I think she was refusing to go outside.

In all seriousness, although not in typical ca.com style, something needs to be done about your brother. If he doesn't get his **** under control now, he'll end up killing the dog or beating it so bad it'll need to be put down. I'm not exaggerating this, heard/seen more than one case that starts like this.
