its a variable charger idk the brand. it will do 5 amp, 10 amp, or 50 amp, so i keep it on 50 amp and hook it up to a big battery and i can power most 1000 watt amplifiers and than some.what kind of charger do you use?

well i have ran an amp off the charger on 50 amp but only a couple hundred watts so it handled it but it got hot and didn't like it. If your doing anything over 100-200 watts hook it up to a battery.do you have to have the charger connected to a battery ??? i have a charger very similar would putting a load on it hurt it or anything it powering ??
