welp, i think im officially done with the box. no...its not "finished", im finished with it. Its a *****. I cant get ANY screws in it. I just split the top wood, and its completely ****ed. SO ........ guess Im goin with no system.

yep. when i drop 1000 dollars in the substage and wiring alone, and god knows how many hours on a box, and the **** thing ****s up, I get pissed. If I knew it wouldnt work, I would have gone a different route.

SO.....Opti4000d = 500+ shipping and sub = 250+ shipping. Most likely. I cant see myself gtting an enclosure built by christmas, let alone spending the money to do it. I need 4 gallons of resin, another roll of mat, paint, body filler......Ya....If I try to build osmehting, its glass this time. Im done with wood boxes unless its client builds.

Just step away from it for a while come back to it later and see what you can do. Beating your head against a wall definately gets old after a while, I know how that goes.

that sucks nutz, it was lookin good, but if you glass the side of the trunk there is quite a bit of room available there.
