Orion 1200D too much for my subs?

Just a quick question...

I will be running two subs with the following specs each:

Single voice coil

4Ohm

250w rms

500w max

I will use the Orion 1200D to power them. Specs are as follows:

1 X 425 @ 4 Ohm

1 X 725 @ 2 Ohm

1 X 1200 @ 1 Ohm

I plan to wire them to run @ 2Ohm. Everything should work out well, right? That 725w @ 2Ohm will be spread out over 2 subs so it is ok isn't it... or not? Just a little advice would be very helpful. Thanks a lot.

Wow, thanks for the quick replies fellas. The subs are some old MTX Blue Thunder Legend 12" that I've had for years. They are currently for sale b/c I'm looking to upgrade but they'll do for now. That's why I wanted the 1200D so it would give me a little room for something better later. Thanks again for the help!
