Well since i found out that i need a huge box for a xxx sealed i have to figure out what sub wuld suit me, i want to go sealed to save room, I want to run 1 12 and it has to be able to handle 1500-2000 watts, anybody have any suggestions

why good luck, i know a few guys that are running 4000 watts in a sealed enclosure. well close 2 it, the amps are a little over rated but i bet 34-3700 easily.

he has 2 of the big hifonics goliath subs and 2 hifonics 2000 watt brutus'

I got news for you, a 2000 watt brutus isn't doing what a 2000 watt brutus says its supposed to do. maybe 1500 with some good electrical.

that why i said they were overrated I know they dont do what they said they do. I said around 3400 watts or so but still that 3000 watts in a sealed enclosure.

Why are you so adamant on the 2,000 watt rms range?

If you'd budge on that 2,000 stance, you'd open yourself up to a ton of different options.

You can get plenty of bass from a 1,000 watt sub in a sealed enclosure.

JL W7, Boston Acoustics SPG-555, Arc Audo FL12, etc. There are tons of options available in that power range...

If they're 12"s that function properly and aren't beat to $hit, buy them.

Build a nice box for one of them and sell the other to fund your amplifier. Problem solved...
