I had almost the same deminsions for my 15" Mag in my civic and i decided to do sub/port back.. I had to put the top of the box on inside the trunk because of clearance lmao...

I had 2 diff 15 setups in my Civic....had to get them in through the rear seats both times.....hated it soooooooo

yea but the altimas seats ****in sucked worse they didnt move..and there was a steel or metal backing with a tiny hole where the arm rest came down..even if seats folded down, there was like a metal sheild, only way to get box in was through the trunk

Sub up gives you alot more room to work with for height....any meters around...id love to know what it does

And did he mention what amp, i didnt catch it? Edit....i see Brutus

I had a 5.5 cu box in there for my XXX 15....both boxes i had though were 2 piece boxes......they went in in 2 pieces through the trunk than came out in 1 through the back seat....soooo annoying:crying:

You can adjust the trunk latch to hold the lid down tighter as that will help some, but upfiring is going to beat that trunk lid to death.

Props to Pioneerpimp for hookin you up!!! I wanted a little more than "free" to do it, but would have gone through the back seat and built a bigger box that was rear firing, so I had to get something for all the work involved.

Yeah you don't care about the looks now, but trust me you will later down the road.

Sounds like it is loud though, so congrads on that. Just clean it up some.

looks loud, I feel bad for your trunk lid. FYI, for more space, take the false floor out next time. You gain at least 1/2", in some cases more. just make sure your box is long enough on both sides to sit on the car's frame and secure to the frame. I sometimes had to do that in my civic when using a 15". Also, it helps in getting finished boxes in the opening because you can angle it down in the well of the trunk then once the box is in you can adjust it to fit properly. Keep that in mind for the future, it saves ALOT of headaches

yea he wanted to be able to get his spare tire out of there whenever he wanted so we had to make it applicable. just barely bareelllyyy fits out of there.overall sounds good and not dissapointed we did 3.6 @ 34hz at all. or sub up port back.

lol u wanted 300+ i didnt have that much. that box is what is recommended. i think a little bigger and that thing would sound a little off. Trust me that box is as big as you would have fit in there the opening from the back seats is even smaller than the box. pioneer will vouch for that.and it would have been a ***** to do all that in a day. i happy the way it sounds, how it looks, how it performs, etc.
